NOKIA CAN YOU PLEASE RELEASE THIS N900 IN ASIA PLEASE..... I'VE BEEN SEARCHING ANYWHERE FOR THIS PHONE ON ALL NOKIA ASIA, BUT NOTHING IS FOUND. The only site which has this are USA and EUROPE. This is pathetic when you seeing Europe and America is the only potential customers of NOKIA. ASIA got alot of people too, and we sure do got money to burn with this device if the price is the same as what AMERICAN people is paying.

The N900 is not yet available ANYWHERE, press releases have been issued but nobody can buy it yet. Nobody has even hinted that its release will be limited, otehr regions always follow.

Yes i know that, but if you check Nokia Asia sites, there is no information about this particular device. I am from New Zealand and I was planing to get this phone in Asia since it is the first place that the phone landing before it reach NZ by sometimes later. But result is quite disappointing since NOKIA did not update their site in Asia to notifying people that it is coming. The expecting date is 19October That is when nokia told the press, well roughly that period.

I am wanting to wait for this device but time is running out, I would love to pre-order if they do have this sort of system in New Zealand ever. I got bloody $750 US dollars to spare for this device. But so far I felt that NOKIA is going to keep Asia out of their market with this Tablet. Very upsetting feeling

New Zealand sounds pretty much like Belgium in terms of product launches - we are always behind the bigger European countries like England and France for the launches of new models. It's an unfortunate fact of life that smaller countries mean less people, which means less sales, which means lower priority.

Nokia is a European company with many shareholders in the US, that's probably another reason why Europe and the US are usually before Asia-Pacific and Middle East/Afric; but it certainly doesn't mean that everybody in those places gets the phones first.

Yeah but New Zealand get the phone really late, for example, Nokia N95 - it was out in Asia for nearly 1year, in europe 1year and USA 9month, before it is making way to New Zealand, average of 6 to 12month delay.

I got sicked of waiting for Nokia to releasing their phone in NZ now. That is why i'm planing to send my money with my brother when he going to visit next month. I got my hope up on this N900 but after a search around Nokia Asia, I don't find any N900 being advertised at all. This could inflecting a back fire on my money, I exchanged it to USD just for that reason.  

Finger cross that Nokia can release it in Asia as well, as Europe.

Yeah, I have the same feeling as yours. I wanted n900 so badly and decided to preorder the unit at amazon. But, amazon can't send the unit to Indonesia. Guess, we have to wait until 1st quarter 2010.

May be, waiting isn't a bad idea at all. Let the product settle for 3 months... then they will have bug fixed. 

But, it really shocking though... Indonesia won't be the first country in Asia to be chosen as for initial releas. We can recall E90... Indonesia was the first country to get the unit.

I also want to get the N900, but after the so many horrid N97.

I thought maybe I should wait a few months and see how it goes as far as stablility wise.

lets hope it comes out to Asia in January next year. Too long will make me change my  mind on buying it.

The UK release date has slipped back to either the 2nd or 9th of November now for the N900.  It may slip further yet, time will tell.

Not that it's of much relevance to you all the way down in NZ, but it's interesting to note that they have delayed it.  I am wondering if they are making sure the software is OK on them after getting their fingers badly burned with the N97.

i got the same condition as maximumcool but i am in pakistan middle east. i am also waiting for it and to much wait can move me towards n97 because i hardly prefr n900 over n97.

i am also requeating to nokia to release it in november i will be very thankfull to nokia for this act of kinidness........

....please release it in middle east as soon as possible.
