I drive a Volvo S40 MY10 with integrated Bluetooth and use a N97 handset with Garmin Mobile XT software for navigation. If the phone is connected to the car one cannot hear the voice guidance commands issued. Is there perhaps a solution or work around for this issue?

Hello,

I would say no as I presume that you do not get key tones or text message alerts either. This is because everything apart from the ringtones and calls are routed through the bluetooth.

I would suggest that if want it to work then have a new Nokia kit  fitted and this will resolve the problem

Thank you for the suggestion, but installing a noter Bluetoothkit does not realy resolve this issue.  Is there not maybe software availabe that could reslove the phone or update the bluetoothkit's software to solve this?
