Hello everyone! I am using Nokia 5800 Xpress Music. In charging my phone I am using the Nokia Charger AC-4U but I have read in the user's guide that this device use the High Efficiency Charger AC-8.  I want to know the difference of those chargers and if it is alright to use the AC-4U charger for my unit because my uncle did not give the charger comes with this unit. Can anyone give me information about this?

I have in the past used Nokia chargers that are not officially recognisd for my phone, and never had any problems.  In fact, Nokia had a promotion here in Canada to get a free in-car kit when purchasing a 5800, and the charger they sent with that is not meant to be for use by the 5800, acording to Nokia's Canadian website.

 

Having said that, please don't blame me if you do use the AC-4U charger and somethig goes wrong with your phone...!  :smileyhappy:
