I would take it with a pinch of salt as it's an unofficial site.  Anyone can create a countdown timer for any purpose they want.

None of the usual reliable sources have an exact date yet.

That countdown timer I think was a setup, and so was the post. You seem to have fallen for the bait.

But is a firmware 2 release itself official ? 

Ok Friends. We have the response. Pls reset the countdown to a more realistic date.

I simply made an observation that the timer wasn't to be taken as the 100% truth.  It certainly wasn't a baited trap, most likely just a hopeful owner/fan that made it based on a rumour.

It's not a case of like or dislike, was simply pointing out that the timer cannot be trusted.

I too am really looking forward to v20, and hope that counter is close to the truth rather than later in the month.

i too heard a rumour that thy had stop the production of n97 considering how failure it was, and they will pay much of their attention to the n900 and other future product.

well ppl might say its just a rumour, but considering poor response from nokia to user of n97 i hve no doubt in this rumour. since there are many faults in the n97 firmware why delay the new firmware 20. this are clear signs form nokia that we dnt give a **bleep** abot n97.

I spoke to a Nokia sales rep today, he said these rumours are unfounded.
