Urgent help required please N95 8GB

Hi all

Just got the Nokia N95 8GB. Nice phone. 1st thing i did was install some games and an antivirus program. This program required a reboot of the phone.

After reboot, phone freezes at main screen. I have tried taking battery out for 10 minutes as this is the only way to reboot the phone. Once rebooted i get same results.

Is there a way to boot the phone bypassing installed programs?
I have tried connecting to PC by usb cable but phone not recognised.

Does anyone have a working solution please?

THANKS

you can try the following but be warned that you will loose all data in your phone, unless you have a backup...

1) Remove the battery, and then wait for about 20 min or so before putting it back

2) Press and hold these three keys together -Green dial key, Star key[*], Three key [3]

3) switch ON the phone.

4) Do not let go the three keys until you see the WELCOME screen displayed and just let it complete the boot process

if this doesnt help contact Nokia Care Point-> http://europe.nokia.com/A4388379

you are welcome and i am glad you fixed it!

try not to install the anti-virus again, it is basically a waste of time, and money, there are no know virus yet for s60 3rd anyway.

for the games try to install them one at a time, and make sure that your phone works well before proceeding to install another, or better yet if it is not from a trustworthy source, better not install it, coz perhaps one of these applications caused the freezing in your N95 in the 1st place... cheers!
