Unfortunately your sing-up failed. on N97mini after reset

After a *#7370# on my N97mini in one of the first messages it says:

Ünfortunately your sign-up failed. My Nokia service is not available in the language of your mobile phone.

See 'My Nokia' in your Nokia to try again. For more information, visit www.nokia.com/mynokia.

I'm at a loss what my N97mini wants from me here. Can I ignore this message? The language I choose during setup is English.
