Last week I installed a free java application which worked fine. Now I want to remove this application but couldn't find it in Application Manager and also when I select the Application and hit C nothing happens I can move it within Application folder or somewhere else but can not remove it.
Can someone please help me. By the way I have N82. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply.
As I mentioned in my first post application which I want to remove is not listed in the Application Manager. I mostly select card as destination to install application. So I was asking as it is not visible in App. Mgr. can I browse the card and remove this app.like sometimes we do in windows. though I am unable to remove the app. it is running perfectly but i don't need it.

Hi,
Before you just delete the application, try the following. Install the application again . This time, it will mostly ask if you want to replace the already installed application. Give ok and continue.
After installation, goto application manager and the application would be mostly listed there. Now uninstall the application. (try restarting the phone after installing)
If this does not work, you can just delete the corresponding application folder in the memory card.I have done this before and I think that there are 2 folders that you have to delete for a java application (However, I dont know if this is the correct method and better make a backup)
IF YOU FOUND THE POST HELPFUL, CLICK THE BIG ORANGE KUDOS BUTTON

Is it possible that the application is still running when you go to Uninstall it? Symbian Apps can be forced to close during the uninstallation phase (via a user confirmation prompt), but I don't believe Java applications can. Make sure it is not running in the background. If you provide details about the application you're trying to remove, more help may be able to be provided.
Cheers,
travla

Thanks for the reply.
I followed your suggestion of re-installing the application, it installed it without any prompt of application already exist. Anyways I have already planned for a hard reset in coming weekend.I just wanted to give a try.
Thanks for your help.
