You would think that Orange would be all over the black N80 handsets like a rash as it would match their corporate colours very nicely.

There is a predominance for a sea of black for the background with a small Orange logo in the foreground. I'm guessing you haven't seen any Orange packaging, probably just as well if you don't like things homescreened

Forgive my ignorance isn't it orange and not black and hence the name Orange?

Bear in mind that buying a phone with a contract means that the network provider is more inclined to heavily subsidise the cost of the handset. The networks would rather you pay them £30 to 40 / month for 12 months (£360 to £480) and pay a reduced price for the handset as opposed to pay full price for the handset and pay them nothing. Also bear in mind that the networks can source handsets with substantial discounts as they buy in bulk.

Ahh yes I think they have some but they are stupily stupidly expensive at the moment, works out far cheaper to get a contract one for £30 a month and use my other sim card in it, as the total amount is still cheaper than buying one sim free, some places are selling them for like 700-1000 sim free which is stupid, you can get a small runabout car for that.
