€370? That's more reasonable than I'd be expecting. I might take a punt on this, a combination of Qt for future apps and the last back-compatible Symbian version is quite tempting.

Still not a fan of the stick-out lens module.

Not a bad price at all for a 12mp phone with xenon and HD video recording.

I hope for nokia's sake that it has rock solid firmware and well tested hardware. Will be very interesting to see how this model performs.

USB OTG support, so you'll be able to offload photos, videos, and other files off memory sticks and cameras with no accessories except an appropriate USB cable.

How strange !! I posted a thread about N8 at about midnight last night, and recieved a PM from a moderator telling me it had been removed this morning, Admitedly I was referring to a review on Daily Mobile, but slightly irritating, as Nokia have answered a couple of my questions 8 hrs later !! And posted it on the web themselves

@ carman58 - The rules are the rules. If nokia has not officially announced a product the post will be removed. That is why lots of N8 posts have been removed over the last few weeks.

The moderators don't necessarily know that a product is going to be made official hours after your post was deleted!

@psychomania, I can appreciate that mate, the fact I included a bit of a rant about my absent N97 may not have helped And I just hope it's not too little too late, seems like a great camera, but 'untried and tested software' and how much phone memory ? At lest I have 12 months to see how it pans out. Hope it's the next best thing, but I'll be using extreme caution and doing considerable research before I sign my next phone contract.

I await full spec with cautious anticipation !!

My own contract is up in the summer. Between this, the new iPhone, and the Desire, it's going to be a great time to be getting a new device. I can't lose! If I pick one and it's hopeless I can just get my provider to swap me to one of the others! Not like back when my contract started and the options were basically S60 or the G1.

LOL @carmen58 same here I posted something about the N8 yesterday and I got a personal msesage from the moderators saying it got removed because it was about an unannounced device >.>

The N8 looks promising and ofcourse a definate improvement on the Nokia N97 and the price is very nice too! I hope I can get this device and that it won't have many issues.

I think we can all live without a slide out qwerty keyboard and go for a 12mp camera AND YES FINALLY 256mb of RAM WOOPEE!!
