Synching with Computer and Voice messages/diverts??

My N8 will not synch contacts and messages with computer using OviSuite. Nokia support has gone upto level 3 (?) involving 3 hours on phone but cannot find solution . All the levels tried same solution involving data file deletion etc etc but result was the same. They are supposed to be getting back to me but that was a week ago. Also whenever I switch on I get option to listen to voice messages OR exit. If I  opt for listen  the phone rings the same number in my contacts list. I did not set any diverts and cannot find option to delete it. It is driving me bonkers and spoiling new phone experience. Is it a phone fault or mine. The software shouldn't be this difficult anyway. Cheers Kaypeg
