I'm sorry, but this "Support Discussion" for "User to User" support is incredible. The level of sycophantism that's practised here isn't even funny.

There's some kind of raging backwater kudos orgy going on that I can't even begin to comprehend and if anybody dare criticise a phone or Nokia then god help you for the backlash. There's a reason that people criticise Nokia and their phones here. It's because it's a Nokia support discussion newsgroup thing and people assume that if they've had a bad experience with a Nokia device here's the place to share it. Oops!

There's no distribution of viewpoints, no carefully balanced discussion. It's a Nokia love in.

I'm not a troll. I don't hate Nokia, or my N97. But the attitude here, that's something else.

I have to disagree with your views of the forum for the most part, but you are entitled to speak as you find and this should be encouraged. However, I would like to see the Kudos system removed as I somethimes feel some people post lousy advice in order to try and get another star. Just look at the number of users that have a comment asking for kudos in the footnote of their reply. Are they posting to help or to elevate their rating?

Forget the kudos system and simply say thank you if you get sorted. Getting more stars shouldn't be what it's about.
