Star trek communicator sound from the n96 upgrage

Is there a way to manually install the slider noise, {Star Trek Communicator} that comes with the n96 upgrade, without the upgrade? Also, how does the upgrade install a sound into the slider mechanism? Does it sync off the number key's light?  thanks, rick

Never mind! I answered my own question when I found  and installed Slide helper.
