Hi, i found some bugs on my Nokia 5800 XpressMusic with firmware v11.0.008
Here is:
==============================================
1. Music player's pause key works slowly. When i press "pause" music paused after ~ 1 second. No other background application works at this time
2. When i set Security code for phone instead default 12345, and select option ask code when SIM card changed, code NOT asking some times with my one SIM, only PIN, in ~ 10% cases when i reboot phone. When code not asking phone boots correctly, all functions works, but make any call is inpossible. Only reboot helps.
3. When batterey is low phone will automaticly switch off, this right! But when i press power on key no any messaging displayed e.g. "Battery is low! Charge battery!".
4. Built-in internet browser sometimes dies when i go to "www.yandex.ru"
5. At phone desktop i may set my favourite 4 contacts for fast calling, messaging, etc. But if any contact has more than one phone number i can't select it from list. Only default.
(
6. Sometimes menu crashes when i go to Menu->Settings->Phone->Applications settings..
=============================================
Thats all. Sorry for bad english, i hope that all this bugs will be fixed in the next version of firmware.

This might be a problem with your computer and how it sets up the Serial ports. I am using a Mac and I sometimes have BT issues. For the most part, I can use my headset and send files but some other things stop working. I do not think it is the phone.
Errrm.... I have been using the same headset with my 6120c previously and did not face such an issue. And the device in the issue is not a computer but my wife's phone which happens to be a 6120c too.
Like you said, some other things stop working... may I now what? I am quite irritable now that I paid quite a lot for the leading edge equipment but fact is I am made a fool of by Nokia.
As for BT issues, let's not get started. The Nokia phones will disconnect sometimes halfway through a conversation, something that never happened to my son's Ericsson's phone although we bought the same headset.
If you ask why I keep buying a Nokia phone, well, my first phone was a Nokia and somehow I got used to using one. But at the rate they are going, it looks like we are taken for a ride more and more nowadays. Have not used another brand since quite some decades ago, so I am not in a position to say if the other manufactureres does the same thing.

I can confirm the problems with BT disconnecting during conversations with my carkit parrot ck3100. VERY frustrating!
Also when downloading my 2 entire mailboxes(4000 emails+attachements) by pop3 the mail application crashes and all mailboxes and settings are gone (Using the sd card as storage location for email). Have to start over again creating the mailbox accounts from scratch.
With my telecom provider(telfort Netherlands) its impossible to get Internet or mms to work. I can use other providers sim without any problems.

If you are having MMS and Internet problems then this is most likely your provider as you mentioned that other cards work.
As for the mailboxs, I would be willing to guess that well it is just very large amounts of data. Is this crashing on 3G or wifi? One option (I am guessing here) might be to use PC Suite to get your mails then push them to the phone. I do not know if this is possible but just a thought.

Yes i agree, something similar had happened with n95 and some other symbians60 r2 phones from nokia in combination with my provider.Then nokia provided a software update for those phones, but only if the phone was bought at my providers shop. (offcourse mine isn't....)
Im using wifi to sync. Im on a mac so pc suite isn't going to work.
Anyways thanks ![]()
