Hello everyone, first time using this site so I hope everything is in the right place etc. I've recently changed my phone to a 6210 navigator my problem is the picture slideshow, it isn't clearly visible when the phone powers down. I've played around with the screensaver timeout settings but the screen always times out after 5 secs thus you can't see the slideshow. If I use a screensaver this is visible until the desired time that I have set. I can't find any reference to the slideshow `light up time` anywhere. Is this normal for this model of phone? I find it difficult to accept that Nokia would give you the option of having a slideshow as a setting but it not being visible. Hope this makes some sense.

The 6210n is an S60 FP2 phone which means that it probably has an energy saving mode.

Press once on the power button and scroll up. If the menu entry selected is now "Deactivate power saving" then click on it and your problem should be gone.

Sorry that didn't work. Unfortunately I have no other ideas. Hopefully someone else will chime in.

Oh yes, are you running the latest firmware version for your phone? It could be something that's been corrected. Visit this page:

I checked the firmware this morning and it is the latest version. Thanks for the help anyway.

Something I've noticed, when the phone is pluged into the mains to charge the slideshow is clearly visible for the period of time set.

Well it's been a long time coming, had a software update on my phone yesterday and now the screen saver works as you would expect.
