I have been trying to Define a mailbox on my N82. (Menu-->Messaging-->Mailbox)

I managed to do this very easily on my previous N82 (silver)

I now have a Black N82 and can not seem to get this right.

I don't know what I'm supposed to fill i as my incoming mail server and the outgoing mail server.

I think the two values should be the same.

I feel very stupid for not being abel to do this because it was working perfectly on the previous phone.

By the way I have a gmail account.

Incomming and outgoing mail servers are not nessicarily the same,

The settings should be available from your email provider (gmail)

try reading the help on setting up for outlook

i think the email settings you require are...

Incoming

    mail server: imap.gmail.com

    mailbox type: imap

    security ssl/tls

Outgoing

    mail server: smtp.gmail.com

    mailbox type: imap

    security: starttls

the mailbox i'm using is a googlemail one and i've just translated it to gmail, so the above may not work.
