Hello
I have the Nokia N97.
I have a lot of SMS on the C memory and a lot of SMS on the E memory.
How I can move the SMS from the C memory to E memory that all the SMS will be in E memory?
Thnak you in advance

Or you could follow chiempies tips. People says it works, and there should not be a reason not to:

I finally found a way:
Select the phone memory (c
location were your messages are stored.
Open Messages in pc suite and select all messages from your inbox
Export them to a csv file on your pc
Now change the location to mass storage on your phone
Refresh pc suite and you'll see the messages in your mass storage
Create a new folder in My Folders f.e. Inbox
Select this folder and choose file - import and select the file where you saved your messages from your phone memory.
Now transfer the messages from your my folder inbox to your inbox.
Now change the location to phone memory on your phone
Refresh pc suite and you'll see the messages in your phone memory again.
You can now delete them.....
It's a bit time consuming, but it works!

"I have a lot of SMS on the C memory and a lot of SMS on the E memory."
Just for curiosity: how did you do that? As I see it, you only have one setting: "memory in use" is C:, or E: or F:

Hi there ynotamil. If you choose to use C as messagememory, the messages will be stored on C. If you choose E, the messages will be stored on E.
So if you use C first, and switch to E you will have messages on both.
Or, maybe you have set it to E, but after connecting to a pc using mass storage mode - you forgot to set messagememory back to E. cause, every time you connect to pc using mass storage mode, message memory will revert to C.

Easy, and another example that the N97 still isn't a properly tested product.
And no, there is no easy way of moving the messages.
Apparently you can do it, if you have PC suite working... Which I don't, so I can't confirm that.
But even so, that is a very awkward way to solve a problem that can bite you several times a day.
