i heard that the official update of n8 the symbian anna will increase the os speed of n8 is this true?

dont think it speeds it up but will be a lot slicker, the new web browser should be faster and alot more user friendly and improved maps and icons.

From everything that I can tell the purple tint is a hardware issue. Seems that the stocks that got delivered to Nokias have purple tint. Some people have reported that changing the screen worked for them, others said nothing happened. Probably dependent on what screen (w/ or w/o purple) does the Nokia Care Center in your region has in stock.
