Hi,

I recently bought the Nokia N97 from Amazon. Since day 1 I have been facing problems, the phone seems to freeze all the time. I havent put on any pictures or music, and the phone would freeze while I open contacts or any other stuff. Can someone explain why this may be happening?

I recommend you to have a look at the forum before starting a new thread. You will find many posts about this "Well known N97"

For your problem, you are not alone. There are many users that having any kind of problem with their N97 around the world.

There are tons of problem related to N97. Many users choose to wait, and some like me choose to give up the phone. 

If you can return the phone and have a refund, DO IT before it is too late. Some users try to sell the device after 3 months use, and he is only able to sell it at about 1/3 of the original price.
