Bought an N95 a year ago. Decided to finally commission it today. Everything OK for first 10mins. Could send and receive texts. Then screen when dead but still backlit. Phone doesn't turn off with off switch - only turns off by removing battery. I am charging it but nothing showing on screen to indicate it is actually charging. Menu keys are lit. Is this a dead battery issue, or have I hit a wrong button somewhere. Any ideas most welcome. TIA.

Try out the hard reset switch OFF the phone,  press the 3, * and call answer keys and power ON the device.

Edit: Doing the above will delete all phone data.

krizanand - your solution worked. Two mobile guys from two different businesses told me phone was dead this morning!  Scary how little they know. Many grateful thanks from New Zealand.
