I've had the phone for about a couple months now. Yesterday I added new songs to my phone when I suddenly got an error saying that one of my songs cannot be transferred blah blah blah. Afterwards, I disconnected the phone and went to my menu to refresh my playlist. Thats when I noticed that my phone was reacting VERY slowly. It took nearly 10 seconds to get to my menu and then took about 8 seconds to scroll to the Music player option. This never happened until I transferred my music. I have not done anything radical having done this countless times before, though this is the first time I received an error. Could 1 song really mess up my phone this much? I tried to hard reset the phone, but it hasn't solved the problem. Now, whenever I turn on the phone I get an "Installing" pop up that seems to last forever. I'm planning to delete all my songs now to see if this solves the problem. Do you know what could be wrong? Hardware failure or just a simple problem as a corrupt file.
Please help me!

You have already tried the hard reset. You might want to try hard resetting again and this time also reformat the mass storage as well.
The reason you are getting the "installing" pop up is because you had applications installed on the mass storage before. When you reset the phone the application was still there but the link to it was lost. Best thing to do is reset and reformat and start from scratch.

To reformat Mass Memory, goto Tools>Utilities>Memory>Options>Format Mass Memory.

Problem solved! Thank you so much. I guess that I had a corrupted music file and that slowed everything down.
