I have a problem in restore backup file. It's not show backup file in restore selected list, so i double click .nbu file then there was a warn message that told

"Failed to open the backup file:
C:\....\backupnokia1-12-09.nbu

The file type is unknow. The data cannot be imported to the phone."

Please help me

What software are you using (PC Suite/Ovi suite)? Is the *.nbu file extension associated to correct application? Is there in the application which you are using for restoring any option to browse for backup file? Is there any chance that backup file is corrupted? Anyway, you can try NbuExplorer to get your data from backup file (either corrupted or not).

Sorry but I had the same problem with a N95 Gb one.

I've used Ovi suite software but I can't restore my backup.

I've also used Noki 1.7 and ABU nbu converter but they don't see any file except for the date and the time of the backup; but my backup file is 10Mb size!! so, there must be something inside...

I've followed exactly all the Nokia procedures, so what???

I'd be only too please if somebody helped me.

(First, I'll try also with NbuExplorer as you suggest if it restore files corrupted or not)
