Phones 2 biggest stupidities

Please, don't get the topic as a threat. I like Nokia and still use them, but...

First biggest stupidity of all Symbian nokias

Contacts. They are all in one heap. I have lot of contacts and 80% of them are history (but they need be present). What is called 'groups' are not much of help. Because:

1. When I press 'Contacts' I want to get into my working list. When using groups I need to do 2 extra touches (even 3 in case of N97),.

2. Working in groups is not the same as working in contacts. E.g. I cannot delete contact (completely) when in group.

Please, look at how SonyEriccson does their contacts in Symbian phones. They did it much more wisely!

Second biggest stupidity of touch devices N97 and X6

Green and Red buttons must be hard!!! Why this, because when answering the phone I don't want to look at it. I get it from the bag and press the button blindly. When these buttons are sensoric I need to look at them. That is awfully inconvenient!

N97 made more clumsiness: it has app button hard... Why this if I'm looking at screen when using apps? Strange...

Green and Red buttons should be on different sides of body (like in X6) so the chance of pressing wrong button would be minimal. They even could be on sides and could be harder two times more than usual hard buttons to prevent occasional pressing.

Please, get this message to models head designer. I beg you Nokia: make finally a perfect phone!

Haha. I simply cant help laughing at what you are saying Nokia's first stupidity in the phonebook/contacts. First of all, the n97 is a symbian s60v5 phone, so its phonebook should be compared to a s60v5 phone from SE (you said take a look at the SE symbian phonebook). And looking at the SE Satio phonebook, lo and behold! The Phonebooks are IDENTICAL! Sorry. But you completely blew yourself off in that one.

On the second stupidity, personally I dont mind them not being hard buttons, since I always look at the phone before I answer it. I like to know who's calling.

[ Edited ]

I know who's calling by the personal ringtone.

They are NOT identical! SE has folders. It has ability to set working folder from settings. When you open contacts you get into that folder.

Re: Phones 2 biggest stupidities

Even if this is S60 platform specific bug and Satio have identical phonebook that does not make the difference: it still stays to be the stupidity. So haha yourself! )

Re: Phones 2 biggest stupidities

Well the haha wont go back to me since you were the one who pointed out SE as something to emulate, but got yourself shot since they have the same phonebook. Anyway, I personally wouldnt call it a stupidity since I like the contacts menu the way it is, thank you. ^_^
