Phone gets Memory Full Error

Hi , I am from India

recently I updated my 5800 firmware with V 20.0.012 dt 26.01.2009. From then onwards usually I got an Error while opening any application like Messaging, Music or any other . It shows "Memory Full, Clear Some Date" or just like that. Even there is no full memory. The only solution is just restart the phone. Thrice my phone got restarted without any reason. Now I am just waiting for any new Software Update. Hope Nokia will take care of it.

Re: Phone gets Memory Full Error

You may check your memory status by going to menu > options > memory details > phone.

If you do have space left and the phone is giving you the error then it could be due to bad applications or corrupted applications.

Try doing a reset by following these steps :

- A restore by keying in *#7780# when on standby - This will not delete any data but will restore all the settings back to default.

If that does not help then you may wanna try doing a soft reset by keying in *#7370# when on standby - This will reformat the phone. DO NOT FORGET TO DO A BACK UP AS THIS WILL ERASE YOUR ENTIRE PHONE MEMORY.

The security code by default is 12345

Mark me a KUDOS if this has helped... :smileyhappy:
