Re: Open letter to Nokia

My only phone has always been a nokia but I hate the N8. I find it intensely irritating and my kids keep telling me to flush it down the toilet. I lose calls taking it out of its case, I cant receive calls when I listen to the radio ( why do you want to listen to the radio they asked me in the shop), every time I type "will" it makes it "Will" like the poncey prince, it wont connect to the net in my house, it tells me I'm in the UK when I'm in Ireland and on and on and on. Its a good camera but I thought I was buying a phone. I can get no service from where I bought it and I hate it so much I will, sorry, Will, drive over it.

Re: Open letter to Nokia

I was happy with my 5530 until it shut down when receiving/making calls or sms and the lock slider worked intermitnenly. I sent it back for support, they fixed the shut down, but ignored the slider. I have to try to unlock it from 1 to five times for it to work. I am going for an android after saving some for for a nexus s. I I have to pay top for a working phone, so be it. I won't pay for a n8 as the service will be the same as for the 5530 (and worst, I will be forced to use ovi suite).

Re: Open letter to Nokia

Hai are u still using 5800, if so please go to ovi. download microsoft silverlight from there and install in your phone, open this page wwitv.com select any country open the channel see that you can watch live tv stream in mobile. please read my letter below To all public, dont buy any smart phone, since no manufactures provide TVU player, Adobe flash player, and microsoft silverlight player, all this player is need to watch live tv stream on internet, They are not smart, only mobile phone with windows work.I hav made several complaint to nokia and others, All symbian, maemoo, android or any other operating system has not make this player, go to this wwitv.com website in your mobile phone and please try to watch all those channel there, you can watch all these channel in your pc and windows mobile phone, so please ask all the manufactures to add or to make this player. All of us need phone to talk, to surf and to watch live tv stream on internet. Also we need phone with big display and qwerty key board for maximum and better usage. thanks

Re: Open letter to Nokia

I too can relate to your story , for I too have been faithfully married to Nokia for what seems like forever, but I must confess to being seduced by my 20yr old daughters companion, namely  the Samgsung Galaxy S11.

She's slimmer, yet bigger where it counts, faster where it matters, has more stamina to go for longer.

Luckily my N8 has a couple of tricks to keep me satisfied, namely, the best Sat Nav & camera a man could desire.
