Oh great - my N97 is bricked - Help!?

I went away for the weekend and didn't take my charger. Yesterday my phone seemed to suddenly lock itself in to a cycle of rebooting itself every few minutes for no particular reason, then when I went to bed it only had one bar of battery left so when I woke this morning I assumed the battery had died.

When I got home and plugged it in, however, the phone is totally dead. Been charging for about 90 minutes now, and it's still not coming on. I've tried taking the battery and Sim out for a few minutes and trying again by nothing is working. Any ideas what has happened and how I can fix it? Why was it rebooting yesterday? I've not had any other problems with the phone so far.

 Any idea?

Thanks!!

If there is no sign of power at all  then you might have to have the phone fixed under warranty by a Nokia service point.

It is possible that you could hard-reset the phone by holding down shift, space and delete keys on the keypad as you push the power switch, but the way you describe the problem I'm not sure it would work in your case.
