I cannot find a way to enable landscape view for text, calling, or anything.  I have powered down, removed and reinstalled battery, and read the user guide several times without success.  When I press the keyboard symbol, I do not see any "full screen querty" option at all. 

I have yet to hear this phone ring or beep for any reason, despite setting these in the profile menu.

The number of problems, after four days, is rather disappointing so far...

Menu-->Settings-->Phone-->Sensor Settings-->Sensors--> 'ON'

Also check the volume settings in the Profile..for the alert tones..
