Hello
I am a fun of nokia products and I think we as consumers can also help in making products that we like to grow bigger and better.....
My opinion is that nokia slacks in terms of getting the media houses to really talk about their phones. An example is iphone does a lot in terms of getting the media on their side and if you compare n8 to iphone 4G, n8 has a lot of functions that can set as the new standard for mobile phones but the adverts I saw concentrated mostly on the 12mp camera which I believe is not the only function to boost about.
Nokia get the media and let them sell the phones for you ad also make your site flashy as the youth love such things.
Thank you

This is very true. The image of a product in today's market depends as much on public perception as the quality of the device. Somebody I know was recently one of the latest to say "I've had my last Nokia, it's Android for me..." and now he is complaining that his Android Motorola crashes a lot in simple things like Bluetooth data transfers, accessing e-mails et cetera.
The truth is that all smartphones have issues, too many people don't realise that a smartphone is incredibly complex and more closely related to their PC than to a traditional mobile phone and they assume that when it goes wrong it is the fault of the badge on the front, which is pure nonsense.
It is very fashionable to knock Nokia at the moment, they definitely do need a better publicity machine to get the right image across. Apple denied the signal issue in the iPhone4 for ages, then adlmitted "Yes, we designed it badly, please buy an extra accessory to make it work properly"; now the whole thing is largely forgotten. They would be nothing without Steve Jobs, I don't like him personally but you can't deny he has charisma and knows use the media to his own advantage.
