Nokia n97 mini problems

Everytime when i use the phone till the battery flats out, then recharge it to full and switch it back on, the sceen starts to act up. Theres flashes of colored lines on the right and bottom part of the screen. I dont know if anybody else is experiencing stuff like that but please let me know if you do. Then theres the problem with the connection. My phone keeps wanting to connect to the wireless. I tried turning scanning off, putting packet data to when needed, switching it to offline mode and it doesnt work. And still theres also some tone popping up from my phone a few times for no reason. Id like to know if anybody out there's getting screwed by nokia too. Thanks.

Re: Nokia n97 mini problems

I look after my N97 mini, back it up, delete old data and logs, keep s/w current, I always clear folders, empty messages, emails etc, but makes no difference. I always had Nokia phones, and liked them a lot until this piece of junk. I have NOTHING but problems. I have a business account with multiple phones, and I've threatened my service provider that I will leave unless they replace it. They wanted to repair it, and I've told them to stuff it, you can't fix junk.

Problems include lousy signal, applications that won't open (or shut down) with "no memory" or "system error" messages. I get "close some applications" when none are open, it somtimes won't charge as the s/w doesn't recognise USB or charger cable. I spend more time taking the battery out and re booting (at least once a day). Worst problem is the same as "avery" post.... it keeps looking for a WLAN, even when you switch the bloody thing off!!!

Next stop.... iPhone, Samsung or any damn thing (even back to my reliable E51)
