What are the pros and cons of the N97 vs the HTC hero ?

Name one thing that is better on the HTC Hero than on the N97

Name one thing that is better on the N97 than on the HTC Hero

Or name many things 

Ill start off with a few. (I have the N97 and am considering returning it for a HTC hero.)

HTC pro = 7 highly costimizable home screens.

N97 con = 1 slightly costimizable home screen.

N97 pro = Real slide out physical keyboard.

HTC con = Online onscreen keyboard.

HTC pro = Small, slim and light (compared to the N97)

N97 con = Larger, thicker and more heavy. (properly why N97 mini is comming)

I don't know much about HTC Hero but I can say the brand comparison Nokia vs HTC is like BMW vs Kia to me.

Idk why u compare HTC with KIA,but ...well on software side...HTC is ages ahed of NOKIA...in innovations and customer support...So my opinion if u pay a bag of money for a phone...skip N97 and get the HERO

ps. u can check and Touch Pro 2 . I think price of N97 and Pro is relativelly the same....for more info look the link

HTC Hero has multitouch, but the camera is terrible with no flash and the only reason I did not jump to it.

I have herd that about the camera as well. Useless in dim or low light.

Please excuse me for missing the point, but why would you need, or even want, 7 homescreens?

Kia's are reliable and get your from A to B.

I wish my N97 was half as good as that !

Multitouch is good but while buying n97 I was considering about the multitouch and I asked myself how many times I use multitouch?....less than %1 of my phone usage and how many times I use my camere like 3-4 times a day...nokia's camera is still ages ahead of iphone and I dont knwo much about HTC hero's.

But htc hero has an android software, I like the android but as I have reasearhed a little if you want andreoid you can install it on a n97 ( nobody tired yet as far as I know ).

HTC hero could be faster than n97 but  as I cleared my C on n97 it got faster.

about the design I dont like the chin design of HTC hero.
