3.01, not 3.1 as promised.

I had the beta version (3.03) installed before the update. And I still have the same version after the update.

Otherwise I am very happy with the kinetic scrolling, the phone responsiveness is so much better and doesn't crash or hangs at all

Best way to check for firmware: via the NSU or on the Firmware checker page? I assume they query the same Database?

Anyway, doesnt seem to be any update available on 3 network in UK - RM-505 product code: 0586308

STILL @ F/W v11.0.021 - which is buggy and generally pants

Any idea what the general lag time is for UK 3 vs. rest of the Nokia world? Days? Weeks?.... Months? *sniff* 

If v2 fails is back to 3 as 'not fit for purpose'.

Unfortunatelly I have used SW update in the last 24 hrs, befoare doing the firmware update, and now I can't check for new software until the 24 hrs are past.

well i've used "SW update" 3 times since this morning, maybe if you go into settings and turn auto check on and try doing it with a wifi connection? if not already done so

Yep...they f****ed up. It is very hard to use. Otherwise the phone works so much better. The scrolling it's a breeze....

Ovi Store is fixed in an update. I closed it and went back and opened it. It said there was an update. Once I installed and ran it, the kinetic scrolling fully works with no glitch. Think it said the new version was 1.05.

I'm thinking they're going to be doing all the other app updates this way, not in firmware.

Weird, I don't seem to have any of these updates. I'll hard reset my phone and see if that helps...

The update notice for Ovi Store came when I opened the program. It started opening and then flashed a notice saying an update was available and I could click Later or Update Now (not sure those are exact words). I clicked update now and it downloaded the files and installed.
