Nokia N97 mini animated themes problem - not functioning

Hello everyone.

 

I recently got Nokia N97 mini and tried to install several animated themes.

 

They install succesfully and I go to theme settings and select 'enable theme effects".

 

However nothing happens. I installed themes from OVI store (like fire dance for example) so I guess they are legit and should work.

 

Am I doing something wrong or my phone does not support animated themes ?

 

Any help would be welcome.

I forgot to a mention - I installed the latest firmware  v12.0.110

If I remember correctly, s60v5 doesnt support animated themes.

Well I don't know about that.

 

But I see animated themes for s60v5 for downlaod all over the internet ?

Well I havent gotten any of them to work. Theme effects also only puts in transitions. s60v5 doesnt support live wallpaper also as far as i can make out.

Yeah, neither have I.

 

It's just that I havent read anything "offical"  about s60v5  not supporting animated themes or live wallpapers.
