Hello.
I have a Nokia N90 and I recently lost the USB cable that came with the package. So I bought an unofficial cable: Worten(I live in Portugal) Connectivity Cable CA-53.
So I installed Nokia PC Suite for Windows 7 64-bit and, in the part where I was supposed to connect the device, I connected it and it couldn't find it. And the Windows's driver install wizard says that it found an error every time I connect the cable to the phone.
I want to know if it's because I have an unofficial cable or if it's for some other reason.
Just one more thing, I don't know if this has to do with this problem but I found it on the very same day: I can't run the Program Compatibility Wizard. It gives me 0x800705B4 error.
Thanks.

Try using Nokia Ovi Suite and see if that works.
Your cable should be OK but I always prefer using original Nokia products.

I think with was just coincidence... I don't remember seeing that error in other days.
Yes, PC Suite starts up.

Can't download. The website says that it supports Nokia PC Suite so I should install that. But I'm still going to download it by using the other method of downloading.
Installed it. The same problem. It's like it doesn't detect, allthough the Windows's driver thingy detects (it even says Nokia N90)

There's one thing you can try. Find a computer with Windows XP, install Nokia PC Suite on it and use your new wire...see if that works.
If not, then we know for sure that the wire doesn't work.

It still taked some time to buy a new wire for me, and in that time I installed Windows 7. I already have considered installing PC Suite into an PC with XP. I'll do that now, thanks!
