Nokia N80

I have always owned a Nokia cell Phone and found them to be most user friendly and reliable,my last Nokia being a 6100 until it failed on me.I recently asked a mobile phone outlet to sell me something user friendly bearing in mind i am 56 years of age and slow learner, the sales person highly recommended N80, this phone has caused me so much grief and increased my account 7 fold, this is not a user friendly phone. However i am now stuck in a two year contract, will definitely have the other phone repaired and put the N80 on EBAY and proberly only get around Aus$550. I believe many mobile retail outlets do not know their products well enough from a fuctional point of view or is it what they derive from sales commision???.It almost appears to be that the phone is designed to add to your final bill with all its features and fuctions

Re: Nokia N80

I think this is something you should take up with your retailer.

The N80 is not a simple phone and has many added features for more advanced users.

A more appropriate phone for you would probably by the 6230i or 6233.

Re: Nokia N80

The N80 is for people who want/need all the functions. It was stupid of them to recommend anon user friendly phone. You required a more basic phone and would probably got a better deal on a standard phone rather than a smart phone. Go back and tell them this problem. Speak to the manager as you have clearly been mis sold.
Is that an N95 in your pocket or are you just pleased to see me?!?

Life's too important to take seriously.
Nokias I've owned 3210, 3310, 6100, 7650, 6600, 6680, 6630, N80, N95
I'm a 26 year old boy BTW
