Well today I have arranged for my 5th Nokia N8 in 6-7 months due to the faults on it!  I am getting really Peeved about this phone now.  Looking at specs etc there really is nothing that quite compares to match Nokia N8.  The issue I have now is, the phone is totally locking up!  The screen saver can be on and I can press the menu button to unlock and it goes to a totally black screen with nothing on it.  Same if I use the unlock button on the side.  If in the rare time it DOES let me on the home screen it wont let me do anything at all, messages, call etc, nothing, the menu doesnt even come up when I press the menu button.

Anybody else had this problem?  The phone has to be restarted (hold button for 8 seconds) then comes back on albeit for a limited amount of time.  It is also now not holding a charge, from being charged for 8 hours last night whilst I was asleep the charge is holding for about 6 hours.  I work in a call centre so I dont use my phone while I am at my desk or have anything running other than Whatsapp.  So I am totally bemused as to what is draining the battery

I charge my phone every day, and Whatsapp has never been a problem.  Its the first thing I have installed on all 5 of the Nokia N8's I have had and battery is fine.  Just gotta wait until tomorrow when my replacement phone will arrive.  I will give it another 6 weeks before this one breaks.  When that happens I will be cutting my losses and getting a different brand phone.

Just out of interest do you use the FM transmitter alot,

and if so when finishing with the music player do you just let it go into standby rather thanmanualy turning it off
