Nokia N series

I have some Palm astronomy programs that I would like to run. I looked on the Planetarium site and found this: "Runs on the Nokia "N Series", 770, N800, N810, under the Garnet Palm emulator" The site has not been updated so newer phones are not listed. I have also checked the Garnet site, and it is confusing. I'm not sure how current it is. I liked my Sony PDA - all it lacked was phone capabilities. So I would be very interested in buying a phone that met all my needs. I also want wifi. I am with T Mobile, and the older Palm apps are self contained and do not need airtime. Do you have any information about the newer N series? Thanks, Northernclaw

Re: Nokia N series

The 800 and 810 were the old internet tablets, which have Linux-based operating systems. There is, therefore, a fighting chance that your software may run on the N900 which uses Maemo5, an updated Linux-based system, though if the company hasn't updated their web site one assumes that they haven't tested this.

Access Garnet does have the beta for the N900. What are the other N series like the 95? Thanks NC
