Hi Everyone

I have been playing with my new phone, the nokia 6700 slide and I have been trying to sync it with www.ovi.com. I have registered my phone and created all usernames and passwords that I need (have also created a nokia account)

My problem comes when I try to sync my phone with the website using the ovi sync application on my phone. When i press the sync button it says signing in and then I get the message "service activation failed. Try again later", is there something I am doing wrong or a step I have missed out?

Any help/suggestions greatly received.

Did you send the settings from the "manage my device" tab on ovi.com to your phone?

yes I did that originally but I have just done it again to make sure I didn't do anything wrong when I first did it but i still get the same message when i try to sync.

The sync profile may be in error. You are supposed to receive the settings and save them.

hi any solutions with this problem, it really annoys me, been at it for more than 4 hours.

yeah well im getting the same error.... i actually synced it fine... then i went to full reset my phone, i sent the settings and saved them, and still getting that error...i got a 5800xm

I still have had no joy syncing my phone grrrrrrr :-(
