just got my new nokia 6700 slide and i love it...

only problem i need help with is that when i get a phone call it does not display the contact name only their number, which is really difficult as like most people i dont know everyones number!

Does anyone know a way that i can change this? i've tried a few things and have no idea what to do.

Are the numbers saved on both phone and sim memory? And if so, did you set the phone to show only phone memory?

Go to Contacts>Options>Settings>Memory In use>Phone memory only.

This usually happens when there are two instances of contacts with the same number.

Hi just bought a 6700 slide phone yesterday and it's a great phone but i can't send txt messages they just go 2 my outbox but fail to send does anyone know why this is thanks Scott

@malky you need to check your message centre number your operator can provide this

@sijockthomas the 6700 slide would be best and runs on s 60 v 5 firmware the 6500 is limited wit apps as its s 40 there is many great apps and features you can add to the 6700 slide
