Hi,
I have brand new nokia 6630. Do I have to format battery 3 times?

But, anyway its better to format it 3 times....better safe then sorry.Some studies concluded that the battery will wear out faster if you dont format it....And except somr time you got nothing to lose.

I apologize if someone already asked you this or if there was a post about it. I would like to know how to format a battery? I have read the link from battery university but either I didn't understand it or it didn't mention the process of how to format a battery. I just bought a new battery for my Nokia 6630 and so far all I did was to charge the battery 24 hrs. Thank You!

Just charge your battery about 16 hours and let it drain completly (untill the phone switchess off).U should do this about 3 or for times and you're done.you don't need to apologize.
p.s. don't let it charge for more than 24 hours(not even after the fornmatting is done)
