Nokia 5800 not locking screen automatically

Hello everyone!

 

As far as I know, you can set up your phone to lock the screen after a period of inactivity, to prevent it from being touched unwantedly. I was able to do it before, but after I did a hard reset, it seems not to work, even though I set the period after which I want it to be locked. Is anyone also having this issue?

not sure but if you can manage settings, let backlite go off first and then lock

Backlight time setting and auto keyguard are 2 separate settings. Did you set the time for backlight or auto keyguard? (Menu-->Settings-->Phone-->Phone management-->Auto Keyguard...)
