Allmemorycards on Amazon marketplace.
£56.91+shipping.
The memory seem quick enough now, it's the apps that are now causing me grief.
All is fine, until I use the camera function do a couple of shots & then return to normal phone functions, it almost seizes up completely, the menus take forever to appear (upto 20 seconds) & it just makes the phone unusable. It makes no difference whether the memory card is the OEM 8Gb one or the new one, just in case you were curious.
So I've pretty much decided to sell mine & get a Samsung i8910 Omnia HD instead, it has become so annoying!
Does anyone else have this sort of problem?
I don't know what sort of price I can ask for a 5800 with 2 memory cards (16Gb Sandisk & OEM 8Gb one) + Krussell leather case.

@warren do you happen to have a theme installed and selected?
i found that a few themes slows the device down majorly.....
they are a few themes that have no affect...
warren can you try using the default theme and see if this makes any difference?

Also @ warren_g:
Do you have any apps installed on the memory card? If so uninstall them and install onto the phone memory instead.

@roberth.
I have no themes installed only the OEM ones + 3 wallpapers, it makes no difference whether a OEM theme or wallpaper is selected, it just seizes up.

@psychomania.
I have on the main (phone) memory, SameGame, Sudokumaster, Klondike aka Solitare all from NokiaMOSH bar Sudokumaster which came from S60.
Again those don't seem to make a difference, I've cleared the Web Cache, Cookies etc out too, that made a little difference, like I said the problem is when you switch from Camera back to phone, it just goes S....L....O.......W & it seizes up or freezes completely & needs to be reset by pulling the battery out or holding the off button so it switches off.
I think that somewhere along the line the apps are not closing properly & being flushed from memory, also I've noticed when I tap on Internet or Applications then Music/Radio, it takes upto 20 seconds to start them. Which again is weird.
I severely doubt it's the new memory card that's causing the problem, as it doesn't make any difference whether it's the Sandisk, Transcend or OEM card in, it still does the same thing.

It certainly is weird and after what you have tried it's looking like you may have faulty hardware.
My 5800, along with a few others that i've used do not behave like that.
Some 5800's have been struck with odd problems related to the camera. My first had a problem where the camera wouldn't work after taking a couple of pictures or after playing videos. Turned out it was a hardware fault so I got it replaced.

Oh well, last night it really gave me jip, so I contacted Nokia (08450 45 55 55) and explained the problem including it's refusal to dial a 112 (999) call, so following their advice I was told to back it up & reinstall the software.
So I backed it all up & then went out, came back & then attached the phone to the PC (insufficient signal here!) & started NSU, it started followed the instructions very carefully & what did I end up with? A BRICK!
So it's been taken to Sandhurst (Town & Country) to be looked at and maybe repaired.
If they try to charge me for it then they can keep it and Nokia can deal with me directly as I was following their instructions to the letter.
I am now using an LG Shine as a temporary phone and am severely displeased (Censored version) with Nokia, because I now have a dead phone, which I paid damned good money for.
