Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic broken gallery and apps

On my Nokia 5800, the galley opens up very slowly and sometimes freezes. When it does open my pictures and video's cant be seen. Howevere they can be seen in file manager so are definately on the phone. If i take my memory card out, some of my pictures return to the gallery and can be seen. Also a lot of applications I have downloaded such as London Tube map wont open and freeze. It also wont remove them from my phone and wont let me download and install them again.

It appears that there has been an accumulation of corrupted system files on your phone, and your card. You could try to save the card through a disk check, but for the phone it seems a phone reset is in order.
