Hello, I am new to the forums and I hope that this is an excellent opportunity to be involved with a new and helpful community!

 

Firstly, though, I have a problem so I knew that this was the place to come in search for an answer! I recently bought my Nokia 5800 and I am very pleased with it, the phone has everything I want and need. It came with all the correct contents, including the small disc containing software and information regarding the phone. I was happy to download and install the software, but I got to a certain point in the download when it stopped.

 

'RegisterCustomLocales has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.' This pops up around the point when it is installing Nokia Music and Nokia OVI. I then click 'Don't Send' or 'Send Error Report' where it switches off the entire download. I have no idea what to do and I have already tried the Nokia PC Clean Suite.

 

This is important because I cannot download anything on to the phone from my PC, which is Windows XP may I add in.

 

Please can you help me solve this issue?
