Nokia 5800 Bluetooth and Music Woes

Hello All

I have just recently got my 5800 and i must say i love it!!! I do have a couple of issues though. My car has bluetooth built into it which the phone connects to straight away.If i want to play music on the phone when connected to the car it will not play. it is though the phone is on silent. If i plug my auxiliary lead in it works that way.

hope someone can help me.

What head unit do you have in the car?

Whilst it may support bluetooth for calls, it may not specifically support the A2DP profile required for music playback.

It is built in to the car. My car is a Nissan Note Acenta. I dont want the music to play via bluetooth just out of the phoneitself it would be fine without the auxiliary cable being plugged in.

Sorry, I misunderstood your query.

I don't think its possible - to have voice piped through bluetooth and for audio to be sent through the phone itself.
