Nokia 5230 not vibrating in pager mode

Yesterday my 5230 never vibrated even in pager mode. I double checked the profile and vibrate is enabled.

I had my fried call me and the damn phone never vibrated. But it did show the incoming call on the screen.

This used to happen once in a while. But I am tired of missing calls because of this.

It does vibrate in "Normal" mode, so the vibration motor is not the problem.

Any suggestions/fixes?
