They are needed whenever you connect your phone to PC Suite. If you dont want them then NEVER connect your phone to PC Suite, but then that would mean you wont be making backups on it, loading maps from it, or updating software.

Now i have 44.9 MB i dont know why are decrease the memory any problem solvation whitout hard or soft reset ? i think the problem is whit unused temp files but i dont know how to delete

Hey, I do have the same problem. I think there is some thing seriously wrong. The memory does not increase unless you do a hard reset! I feel what robert said is absolutely right.

A few days ago i sent a mail to the nokia service departmant and he said the problem is: " i use nokia messaging or blackbarry" and this thing cause my momory decrease but he NOT understand me im not using any messaging metods !! 99% the problem is in the Symbian OS ...

I tryd the famous Y-Browser ,nothing ...

But why are you concerned? You'll only run out of phone memory in about 440 weeks time at the current rate (if you lose memory at 0.1Mb per week as you said first). I've only got 22.3MB free, but doesn't seem to be causing me any problems.

Mine free memory is now 1140 kb
5 kb Calendar
54 kb Contacts
2631 kb Messages
1300 kb Images
14 kb Sound files
0 b Video clips
39 kb Documents
6276 kb MIDP Apps
14 mb SIS Applications
And 57 mb other files?
This is not good, what must I do know.
I have no cable, only mine memorycard reader.

At first dellete all Messages ( Inbox Sent Mailbox Draft...) 

Than save all images to your memory card.

Whatch if you not have instaled any games or application ( Menu>Settings>App mgr.. installation Files ( Installed apps) Than press Option . View Log and watch the last date...

If you use Mobile Internet  go to Internet >Web>Option>Clea privacy data>All>yes

But you are worrying about really really trivial amounts of space - why??  Its surely not unreasonable to lose about 500k in 3 months due to log files, current memory usage etc etc?

i think ur phone or memory card is affected with a virus true love or newfolder.exe something like that ...which creates more and more files makes the phone to crash..take to nokia care...a phone with 10mb of phone memory in 5230 gives good performance as it got a 128mb ram too,,so no probs....
