No-vember No-Kia No- N900

October has slipped through the calender and now it is the 2nd of November. Still, There is no sign of the favourite and highly anticipated the N900 that Nokia is Promising. When will this device really come out to the selected markets? and when will this N-series Device coming to world markets? No one know what will happened to this yet.

I've been waiting for this device like a little kid waiting for holloween each year. But so far my dream is slipping away slowly, Will NOKIA EVER release this to other nations before February 2010? My dream will be shatted if NOKIA do not release it by Feb 2010 in Asia (thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore)... Please Nokia hear me out and release this device to us Asian, we love new gaggets and techies. Also please tell us how much will it be?

YES Nokia, please release the N900 ASAP, I am eagerly waiting to get hold of it. I think you need a better planning. You should not have said the release date and you should not postpone it for this long. Then people will get fed up and will go for other phones. Even now I am thinking instead of waiting, I can buy iPhone. Please nokia, release it soon

I consider myself to be a local Nokia user, however I am getting tired of the missed dates, and pure silence now on the release date for the N900. If we do not get some information soon, I am afraid the excitement for this device will be done and Nokia's leverage for getting a much larger market share (especially here in the USA) will be lost.

Re: No-vember No-Kia No- N900

This N900 will have to be an AWESOME phone for me to pony cash up and get one, and I wont be the first in line - i'll wait and see how the others do.  I've learned my lesson.

I've heard that Maemo runs on X11 which is a pig - so that might be an issue right there. who knows.

I remember when I got my n97 i was worried the specs were too low for the CPU and RAM but i was fooled by an article that stated that Symbian was from mobile platform roots so it did not need as fast of a CPU etc. Ha Ha!! Boy was I right.  Specs on the N900 look decent but nothing that is WOW.  Every time I look at it i swear i say in my head "that is what the N97 was supposed to have been".

It does look smooth in the QT demo - but that might just be the QT (you can get it for N97 too!!!)

I love my purple screen, 1/2 day battery, sketchy touch screen and $800 price tag - I call it my Lumia 900
