I almost completed checkout yesterday on a new N97 - then realised that nobody would be able to take delivery at the specified time so thought I'd leave it for a while... Last night, saw a couple of youtube videos for the N900 - man, am I glad I didn't get the N97!! The N900 looks frankly, awesome!! So, pre-ordered that instead...

I think you make the right choice in not buying N97, I am a sad N97, and dont get me wrong its well nice, but too many problems :-(.

I think the N900 looks fantastic but its not been out yet and as davecozens says we've been there before, therefore I whish you best of luck with your N900. :-).

Yea, too many problems with the N97 which require you to take your phone into a Nokia care centre every couple of weeks, you were lucky

it depends what you want this tablet for (n900) but you might be disappointed. it can't deliver data and calls at the same time over 3g, does not support currently mms messaging tho  i think that will change relatively quick. its a brand new system. it will have bugs and fair share of frustrations. it is a tablet first and most of all and only later has phone capable options. keep that it mind for there is a difference in how a phone and tablets behave.

I think N97 was just meant for beta testing which was given for its loyal users who will shell out huge sum of money for this paper weight .
