It is not possible to block a private number from your phone but you should be reporting it to your service provider. Contact your service provider with details of the crank calls you have been receiving.

The application Blackballer for sms and phone calls to be blocked, works for most Symbian 60 3rd FP1 & 2, even for the S60 2nd Edition like N73.

A few work arounds can possibly fix it like searching for Call filters and call blocking. A software called Anfy Call filter can block unwanted calls, that also works for Series 40 OS phones. This software also maintain a log of rejected calls .. and allows to send an sms or make a call to the rejected caller right away.

AGLAYA Call Filter is a compatible one as well that will send busy signals to incoming callers.Simply make a list of numbers wanted to send busy signals to, works like blocking them to call you. you have an option for the white list where you can accept calls from numbers at times, even in the 'Reject All' Mode is turned on.

Unfortunately, you can't block unknown numbers or anonymous one; that doesn't show any numbers. You should contact you network service provider.
