DOES THE GPS SYSTEM IN NOKIA 5800 NEED INTERNET TO WORK ?

FOR EXAMPLE IF MY CELLPHONE COMPANY DOES NOT PROVIDE INTERNET ON MY CELL PHONE I CAN NOT USE THE  GPS

You can still use the GPS, but it will lock slower. Turn off agps and install maps with ovi or maploader.

Yes, what Fender77 said.  It will take longer to lock on to the GPS, but once it's done so, it isn't at all bad.  Especially for something you are not paying anything extra for. :smileyhappy:
