for all the people that already bought this phone, could you please check the top right corner of the phone casing, right above the camera for video call, mine there's a small gap around less than 1 mm between front cover and back cover, you will notice it in the dark... there will be a light that came out of this gap...

Hi Im from the UK and got this phone jut last week and my Nokia 5800 has this gap on the top right corner too. Was going to travel over an hour to my nearest nokia store today to get it sorted but it seems its a problem on many phones. I think I will wait until nokia fix this problem before i take it back insteafd it exchanging it for a new handset with the same porblem.
thanks

I have the same problem with my 5800, and I did check with the Nokia care and they said its almost common and not to worry
about. But I am little worried about dust getting into it. So try to keep it in case as much as possible

No gap at all on mine.

I pick mine up on Monday. If it has a gap I'll be rejecting it. Just because a sales guy says that a lot have it doesn't make it a "feature". Its a fault and one that may well cause a problem after the warranty has run out.
Take them back and demand a replacement. Mines costing me £227 and I will not accept sub standard for that sort of money, any money, but certainly not £227 and not from a company like Nokia...

I also have this problem and am curious whether any one has had any success in having theit phone fixed or replaced under warranty.
I'm sure they can't just leave it like it is as the front would eventually seperate all together, so reduces the phones life time -> Not on ![]()
I contacted nokia, but only got an arbitrary reply which ignored my message and just said get the phone assessed to determine if a repair was necessary (tbh, only a replacement or recasing will fix this?). I'm not taking it to a depot if they are just going to deny the issue and turn me away.
